I haven’t posted most of the winter. No real reason, there’s nothing much going on here. But, it was just such a long winter, and I was, frankly, exhausted by the time I got home from work, fed the dogs, made dinner (when I felt like doing that) and only wanted to think about going to bed.
We had at least two full months when the ground was snow covered. And not just a little dusting of snow, but serious snow. Just as you could begin to see the ground, another several inches would get dumped on us. It was depressing. It also got cold and stayed cold. We had a couple of weeks where it was bitter. Then it was just cold.
The whole thing was just too much.
It’s beginning to show signs of spring here (a couple of rose bushes have broken dormancy!) so maybe I’ll get some life back into these old bones.
