Jacob sheep and lace fliers
I tried spinning singles of a beautiful brown/black Jacob’s sheep roving this weekend. I had a heck of a time getting something that looked decent on the bobbin. I hope I can figure out the difference between this and the other fiber I’ve been spinning — faster.
Also, I happened on a website blurb this weekend that said Ashford is no longer offering the lace adaptor. Very disappointing! One of the reasons I bought Ashford was because I felt I would be able to add-on several features when I was ready. Not spend mega-bucks on more wheel than I need at the start. Does anyone have a Traveller lace kit the want to sell?
