Alpacas and tomatoes

As I twittered yesterday, Dennis & I went out and about on a couple of errands yesterday. We went back to the farmer who we had bought those tremendous tomato plants last year. You know the ones, they grew about 5 feet tall and 4 feet wide and gave us tomatoes well past the first frost. You remember:

Maverick – Beating the heat

Maverick is the first long haired dog Dennis has owned.

He is constantly amazed at the amount of hair Mav can lose and not look like a Chinese Crested.

I think there’s a little jealousy there. But, I’m not saying anything. I had an American Eskimo several years ago, so I well remember the tumbling hair tumbleweeds during the big shedding season.

It’s hot here again today. And muggy. Poor Mav is so hot, his day has consisted of 1) panting and 2) lying around looking sad and pathetic.
