I was outside today doing some Fall garden clean up and I was given some surprises.


This is a little orphan rose bush that I rescued from the neighbor several years ago. It usually only blooms once in the spring.

Preserving The Harvest

It’s been forever since I’ve posted, I know (I know!). Busy summer and busy fall. We are finishing up the canning…just apples and squash left. I’ll post more on the garden totals next time. A really good harvest this year.

I am making it a goal this year to update both this and my And Another Thing blog on a regular basis.

Views from the Garden – 06/08/08

Spring took a long time to get here. But it arrived. And summer came pretty quickly afterward. It’s been a miserable, hot, humid, sticky, sweaty existence the last few days and today will be no different.

The garden, however, seems to love it.
